I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Teavana in April 2011.

Interview Details – So I came across a Teavana job posting on Craigslist and not knowing what Teavana was, I did a little research on it. I thought it sounded like a cool place so I went online and filled out an application. I got a call about a week later to set up an interview. Yay! The day of the interview, I get there 20 minutes early. I'm browsing around in the store and my soon to be boss (which I did not know yet) kindly greets me and asks me if I would like a drink. Then a woman walks in who certainly looked a lot more intimidating. She was going to interview me. We step out of the store and find some seats. She starts by asking me what made me interested in working at Teavana. How I would be a great fit to this place. If I have ever worked in retail before. My strengths/weaknesses.

Interview Question – As we got into the interview, she then asks me to try and "sell" her the green tea I was drinking (the one that was made for me earlier). She told me to describe the best I can to her the taste, flavor, and acidity of the tea. I was so nervous because I barely knew a thing about tea, especially this one. Thankfully I researched a little bit before my interview and so I started to try and sell the tea, mentioning that it has a much more weak taste than black tea and oolong tea. The taste, the benefits, etc. etc...   Answer Question
