Senior Analyst Interview

I applied through a recruiter - interviewed at Tenet Healthcare in May 2014.

Interview Details – Done via a recruiter that contacted me via a Tenet internal recruiter. Initial phone interview - then a commitment to next meet in person - which didn't happen - instead was to do Webinar - that didn't happen on multiple scheduled dates. Poor & unprofessional communications on the part of Tenet.

Interview Question – Basic interview questions...same typical ones about experience, how to handle situations, etc. Nothing extraordinary just ordinary. I only wish they had bother to tell me that they were going to waste my time by scheduling multiple occasions for a presentation (and not bother to appear) in the initial interview. I would've told them thank you but no thank you. I'm too busy to play these childish games.   Answer Question

I applied online and the process took 6+ weeks - interviewed at Tenet Healthcare in March 2014.

Interview Details – Applied for role via LinkedIn
Spoke with HR 2 weeks later via phone
Spoke with HR via video conference 1 week later
Asked to interview with hiring manager live
Fly to hiring manager 2 weeks later
Staff was rude, manager was late to our interview, ended on time but said we would reconnect later in the day. At the end of the day, was informed the hiring manager had left the office. When I asked how to leave I was pointed to the back door around the corner (not walked out). Essentially was treated like trash
Submitted my expenses for the trip and received my reimbursement within 10 business days.
Never received communication from team I interviewed with or the HR manager I spoke with.

Interview Question – No technical questions just focused on hospital specific experience I had. Did see any value in non-hospital related perspectives or experiences.   Answer Question

Interview Details – Looking for exceptionally strong analytical skills and don't really care about anything else beyond that. If you have these skills, then you are golden. If not then you pretty much have little to no chance of getting the job.

Interview Question – Different case study questions that will test whether or not your thinking process is aligned with that of senior management.   View Answer

Senior Accountant Interview

Senior Accountant
Pompano Beach, FL

I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at Tenet Healthcare in August 2012.

Interview Details – I had an in-office interview for what seemed to be the only interview of the process. The people I interviewed with seemed to be nice, however the people I came across seemed to be very busy and perhaps overworked. The office seemed nice - it was one floor of a multi-story building.

Interview Question – I don't recall any particularly challenging question in the interview.   Answer Question

Patient Access Interview

Patient Access
Sanford, NC

I applied online and the process took 2 days - interviewed at Tenet Healthcare in May 2012.

Interview Details – Phone interview was simple and routine. Person I spoke with asked me the most asked interview questions like, tell me about yourself, why did you leave your last job. The person also told me that they wanted me to come in and speak to someone else. Once I went to the interview the next day, the person did not show up and I had the in person interview with the same person whom I spoke with over the phone. The person asked me again why did I leave my last job, which I had already explained this over the phone. The person also asked me what is it that I can bring to the company? A couple of questions where I had to tell her what I did on the job that was really good and that helped someone and how they thanked me. Overall, the ended view ended and the person claimed they would be interviewing other people next week, which is usually a lie that the interviewer says. As soon as I got back home and went online, the HR department emailed me saying that they had not chosen me. I feel that there's something wrong with this establishment because this was the 3rd and last time that I apply for a job in the Patient Access department. How can you have a phone interview 3 different times and interview with the same department and never get hired and no one even remember that they keep calling you and rejecting me, so I decided to never apply to that department again.

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Tenet Healthcare in March 2012.

Interview Details – Started with a short questionnaire conducted over Skype. Then followed up a few weeks later with a one on one interview with the company recruiter. After another week I was interviewed by both the VP the position reported to as well another VP that the position worked with. The questionnaire and the recruiter were both laid back and informal. The interview with the VP's was a formal interview.

Interview Question – Describe where you see the risk with this position.   Answer Question
