I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1 week - interviewed at The Coca-Cola Company in March 2014.

Interview Details – The interviewing panel was very friendly. They asked standard interview questions. It was in the new IT building downtown which was very hard to navigate but once I found the court place I was greeted immediately. From start to finish it only took about seven days so it was a very prompt and easy interviewing process. I was expecting but was surprised to have no STAR type questions asked.

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at The Coca-Cola Company in August 2013.

Interview Details – Phone interview first, and then an on-site interview using the STAR process (situation/task, action, result). They rely heavily on this, so much so that both sets of interviewers I sat with (2 sets of 4 panel, hour long each, back to back) had papers with columns pre-written on them to fill out. All questions were "give me a Situation or Task that you had to do involving ___, give examples of the Actions you took, and the Result". Received a follow up call a week later declining to proceed any further in the interview process, but they did provide detailed feedback on what brought them to their decision.

Interview Question – An un-STAR question - "If I gave you $1M to start your own business, what business would you start"   Answer Question

Account Manager Interview

Account Manager

I applied through a recruiter - interviewed at The Coca-Cola Company in August 2012.

Interview Details – I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter. We set up a time for a phone interview which lasted about 30 min. Then she set me up with a face to face interview. It was a panel interview which consisted of about 3 people. They make you fill out this paper and wait till you are done filling it out. After that they walk you in and begin questioning you. They will ask you some questions about why you feel you are right for the position.

Interview Question – " what are you strengths and weaknesses?" " how do you handle a irate customer?" You will also be asked to role play and create a scenario where you come in and try to sell a product that the customer is hesitant to buy.   Answer Question

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at The Coca-Cola Company in August 2013.

Interview Details – I had previously interviewed with Coca Cola for another position, Account Manager-Small Store. That process required an initial phone interview (because I was out of state) with a supervisor followed by a second interview with 2 managers that I did in person. Since I had already gone through the initial interviewing process, the recruiter put me through directly to the interview process for the MDM position. I was interviewed by 3 people. The person who would be my direct supervisor and then two upper management types. The questions were essentially the same in this interview as my previous one. About 4 or 5 questions and then they finish up with a sales call role play. The interview questions are not terribly difficult but it is good to be prepared with real life situations. One of the questions was, name a time that a person who did not work for you was impacting your performance and how you dealt with the situation. They do expect the questions to be addressed in the STAR format which is Situation, Task, Action and Result. Basically you state the situation you were in, the task you needed to accomplish and what the end result was. The most interesting thing was to me, as a person with a background in sales and having been through sales training, that none of the interviewers seemed either knowledgeable or comfortable with the sales role play. I did feel it was a disadvantage because they were not able to identify sales techniques I was using such as soft close, hard close, mirroring, getting the yes etc. However, I will say everyone was very nice and did their best to put me at ease.

Interview Question – What makes you a good fit for Coca Cola? This was not one of the formal interview questions but a sort of side question that I was asked in both interviews.   View Answer

I applied through other source and the process took a day - interviewed at The Coca-Cola Company.

Interview Details – I've applied to several positions at Coca Cola, some of which I am overqualified for. Never once have I received a "not interested", "if your credential match what we are looking for" or even "I'm sorry, but that position has been filled." It makes you wonder is Coca Cola just a you gotta know someone or do they actually recruit outside of internal referrals........

Interview Question – Never gotten as far a a return acknowledgement on a resume submission.   Answer Question
