    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Time Warner Cable (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in July 2015.

    Interview

They asked basic questions they ask at every interview-like "what experiences have you had in the past that you can bring to this job?...It was a job fair interview that you had to be invited too. I felt that the question were average and I even brought my portfolio with me with my resume and referral letter.

    Field Technician I Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Barbourville, KY
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at Time Warner Cable (Barbourville, KY) in July 2015.

    Interview

Submitted an application online, contacted via telephone and had a phone interview during the call. Was scheduled for a face to face interview that went surprisingly well but still never got a call back, even though it seemed as though the recruiter and I hit it off well. The questions were mainly about my experience in customer service and were very easy to answer, even with minimal experience. He also went over what the job consisted of and what I'd be doing if I had the job and how I would do my training. Overall, the experience was alright, but very difficult and time consuming in terms of accessibility to the recruiting process. The physical interview was around 40 miles away from my home, so the drive took quite some time and I invested time, money and work into the interview process with no job offer. I'd work for Time Warner, but they need to review their hiring process a bit more.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at Time Warner Cable (Littleton, CO) in July 2015.

    Interview

Corporate recruiter gave the impression that my skill set was perfect, and actually met the job description to a tee. Explained the position and benefits. Stated that he would contact me the next day after speaking with the hiring manager to establish an interview date and time and also was to check other markets for similar positions. No call the following day. I needed to leave VM and email. Received email one hour later. Employee transfer coming in at end of the month and would be interviewed for position. "Promote from Within". Recruiter stated that if this person was not chosen for the position, he would get back to me in 2-3 weeks. Also never mentioned anything about similar roles in other markets as committed.

    Customer Service Representative Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Syracuse, NY
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Time Warner Cable (Syracuse, NY) in June 2015.

    Interview

I applied online, took an assessment test and personality quiz that took about an hour. Two days later, I got an email asking me to set up a phone interview, which I did. The interviewer never called me. I sent an email asking if there was another time they'd like to do the prescreen, and they asked me to come in for a physical interview and what times would be good for me. I emailed them back with the times, and did not receive a response again. After almost a week I emailed them again. I then received an auto response email saying I had chosen to withdraw from the process, and then another auto response email giving me the information on when and where to interview. They has about 8 other people coming in at the same time, and it seemed like they weren't very organized. My interview took about 20 minutes. They seemed mostly interested in your ability to upsell. Then the next day, I received an email saying I hadn't been selected. Overall it was incredibly stressful and frustrating and I don't think I would try again.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter – interviewed at Time Warner Cable (Greensboro, NC) in May 2015.

    Interview

It was very difficult, every answer I gave the lady questioned it and wanted me to elaborate more. I have 10 plus years in customer service as well as a bachelors in business administration. I found the questions to be very redundant, because a lot were similar to what had been previously asked.

    Interview

Incredibly lengthy time between applying and interviewing and onboarding, and then follow up. They even warned me not to be surprised at how long it took. They encouraged me to keep in touch with the HR rep via email, but if I really needed a job, I might have taken one that I wanted LESS than this one, thinking that no news was bad news, when in reality it just takes them forever to interview and make a selection. There would have been at least one more interview up the chain had I progressed far enough.

    Interview

I interviewed with five other people which took two hours to do.I definitely had the experience I thought I interviewed great but was sadly sent a email the next fast and was told that they were looking for other people that more closely met their needs? Average Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Time Warner Cable (Cleveland, OH).

    Interview

Very unprofessional interview process, The interviewers were not very personable like they had better things to do asked a set of situational questions very quickly with no getting to know you chit chat just asked set of questions to be punched into computer and scored to determine if you get the job. This was one of the most un-personal interviews I have ever had the questions weren't really based on getting to know what type of person you are they were more so situations you have experienced and wanting details on how you handled them. the seemingly obvious answers to these questions did not seem to be enough even giving details of past experiences.

    Sales Assistant Interview

Anonymous Employee in Los Angeles, CA
    No Offer
    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Time Warner Cable (Los Angeles, CA) in March 2015.

    Interview

Initially contacted by an HR representative who asked typical interview questions such as "why are you interested in sales?" "How does your previous experience apply to this position?" and "Describe a difficult situation where you had to find a quick resolution." The HR rep also elaborated on the position and told me I would be contacted by a sales manager for an in-person interview. The next day I was contacted by the sales manager and went in for an interview the following week. The questions asked were typical interview questions and it was an overall positive experience.
