I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at USAA.

Campus Interview with 2 USAA HR Reps. Involved puzzle math questions and questions on basic IT/Computer Science Concepts. Then called for another hands on interview next week with USAA team in Plano. Interview involved group presentations and troubleshooting, Sudoku problem solving, charting timelines for projects, all with working with other candidates. Next phase was individual interview with 1-2 USAA engineers. Very similar to campus interview with more question but a bit more indepth overall. 2 week waiting time until final decision. All in all very positive experience.

The interview process took a few weeks. I applied online and i received an email for an phone interview. The guy that interviewed me already had it set in his mind that he was going to reject me before giving me a chance. Although I have previously worked there and my rehire status was eligible, I was still denied! USAA is a great place to work and hard to get in but its going to be ten times harder to get back in!

I applied through an employee referral – interviewed at USAA.

    Interview Details

The Interview process with USAA is by far the best I've ever experienced. I was referred by an employee and was contacted within a week to start my assessments. The assessment all together took about a hour to complete. Once the assessments were complete I was contacted by a recruiter who was amazing! He really took the time out to get to know me and answered all my questions. The interview questions mainly consisted of; "explain a situation where you encountered a difficult patient, and how did you turn it around?" and "explain a situation where you had to sell a product."
After my phone interview I was given a date for my final interview and instructions on how to complete my background check.

    Property Adjuster Interview

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at USAA in January 2015.

    Interview Details

Applied online and had a recruiter contact me to complete assessment online. The next day I received an email that I passed the assessment and they would contact me the next week for a phone interview. Phone interview took 20 minutes- went over position and asked a couple situation scenarios. That went well and was asked to come in for an interview with 2 hiring managers a couple days later. The interview took 45 minutes and asked basically the same questions as they did in the phone interview. It seem like it went well but received an email the next day that they were moving on with different candidates. My only guess is because I never served in the military, I looked like an ex boyfriend/husband of one of theirs or the position was filled and they needed to waste some time in the day. I came in prepared with good answers and knowing everything about the position and asked a few good questions too. But it's their choice.
