I interviewed through an employee referral. The process took a day - interviewed at Unilever in November 2012.

    Interview Details

One entire day of multiple panel interviews.
I should have been informed of their dress code. I was over dressed and needed to wear extra protective equipment.
Two of us (candidates) were processed together on the same day. We attended an opening meeting, lunch and closing meeting together. The panel interviews were held separately.
I never heard anything back from anyone!

I applied for the internship through my college's career services. Got the interview and prepared for a behavioral. Didn't get asked a single thing. Instead the interviewer wanted me to ask him about the company and position. It was really laid back and basically just a regular conversation.

    Application Details

I interviewed online. The process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Unilever in December 2013.

    Interview Details

Applied through their website and a recruiter contacted me the very next day. She asked me to submit a detailed resume and she said we would move from there. Two days after I sent it she got back to me and scheduled a phone interview. The interview lasted about 30 mins, and it was very relaxed. Asked me to walk her through my work experience, confirmed a few details about my academic background and asked a few general questions like "why Unilever", "strengths and weaknesses" or "expected salary". All in all very friendly and trying to make it pleasant.

    Interview Questions
    • None of them was really hard. As long as you get ready to face an interview, I think it's difficult that you get any bad surprise at this stage. Probably the next steps are harder.   Answer Question
