    Interview Details

    Interview was approximately 1 hour with a panel of 3 people--the assistant director of the dept and 2 potential colleagues. Questions were pretty standard and dealt with specific job experience and technical skills. After the interview there is a 45 minute assessment (pen and paper) that requires you to write syntax for data management and analysis using SAS.

    Interview Details

    Submitted application, was invited to come in for a skills test before being considered. Then I was called to come in for an interview with two interviewers. I did well, however didn't have the experience they were looking for. The individuals I met were pleasant and engaging. I will look forward to another opportunity - seemed like a place I'd like to work for.

    Interview was a pleasant experience, first met w/ administrator who was leaving, then with the professor who I would be working for. Administrator explained the requirements of the job, spoke w/ her for around 1/2 hours. then met one on one with the professor. he was a personable, relaxed fellow i would have enjoyed working for. i was hopeful that i was going to get an offer and was very disappointed when i didn't. when i called to follow up in a weeks time i got the impression i might have been the #2 pick, as the admin indicated that they were making someone else the offer, but they didn't know yet whether they were accepting

    For this particular interview, the professor contacted me through email. On the interview day, there were 2 professors interviewed me. During the interview, they explained the project to me very clearly and brought me to the laboratory. After that, they started to ask me tons of questions.     Interview Details

    The phone interview was scheduled around 1 week in advance. While scheduling the interview, I was advised that it will be a 1:1 phone conversation with the hiring manager. The actual interview, however, had around 5 or 6 people on the call, using a speaker phone. It was difficult to keep track of who was who, especially because of a poor speakerphone environment.
