    Interview

Group interview, super chill. There were a group of 10 we just went around answering basic questions. The managers at the end asked the people they like about availability and to go online.

I applied online. The process took 4 daysinterviewed at Urban Outfitters (Seattle, WA).

    Interview

It was a group interview. I went in with about 10 other people. Interviewed with assistant manager. Very laid back. Went over company history, stocks, benefits, merchandise, etc. They asked several questions and you basically discussed amongst each other your response. They also gave us a tour of the store and were open to any questions.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at Urban Outfitters (Edison, NJ).

    Interview

It was relatively easy. A group interview that just looked for those who were current with trends but also knew how to handle that type of jobs during a peak season (i.e. winter holidays).

    Product Flow Team Leader Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Urban Outfitters (New York, NY) in July 2015.

    Interview

I was first given a video interview where your answers to questions are recorded. The next step was a survey where they asked a bunch of questions about how you would operate in the workplace. The last step was an in-person group interview. They asked questions about why we are interested in the company, loss prevention questions, and some scenario questions. The interviewer was chill and laid back. They called me about 3 days later and offered me a sales associate position (when this is NOT the position I applied for) and offered me an hourly rate that was so low I almost laughed. My experience far exceeds what they put on the table.

    Interview

I applied online and was invited to the job interview that was open to the public being that it was for the opening of the new store. We were grouped and interviewed by 3 existing managers of stores nearby. The next day, I was sent an email to fill out an assessment and a week later I was contacted with a job offer.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at Urban Outfitters (Edison, NJ) in July 2015.

    Interview

Asked me three questions and hired me on the spot. It was a one on one interview since I was asked by the manager of the store if I would want to work there. They were mainly interested in what I knew about style and if I had any previous retail experience.

    Interview

Saw through Instagram that UO was hiring for a new store opening near me and filled out the online application. About a week or so later they sent me an e-mail to do a video interview of myself, but was at a festival without cell service at the time so was unable to do it. They thankfully sent out a second video request several days after and I completed it. It's little weird since it's kind of like you're talking to yourself, I felt mine went horribly but still got a call-back to come to a group interview. Group interview was super relaxed and was with four other people. Try to be the first one to answer initially because the SM seemed to love the enthusiasm, and definitely make sure to highlight your love for the company/brand. Be relaxed and yourself, and if you have an artistic side, definitely make sure you show it. About a week and a half after the group interview I got a call-back from the manager offering me the job.

    Interview

I had a group interview with 5 other people. The hiring manager asked a question and we all went down the line and answered it. It took longer than expected to hear back about the job so she emailed me to make sure I knew that she didn't forget about me.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Urban Outfitters in June 2015.

    Interview

I was referred by a friend who is a current UO employee, and I applied online. A week later I was asked to complete a video interview (the same one discussed by other reviewers on glassdoor). The questions had nothing to do with skills or work experience-- I think they are just trying to get a taste of your personality and determine whether or not you'd make a good fit for the company. The first "question" asks you to draw a picture describing yourself.. Kind of odd, but have fun with it! I didn't hear back for at least another week, and then was asked to come in for an in-person interview. I had a 1:1 with the store manager (I assume the only reason I wasn't part of a group interview was because I was referred), and in this interview I was asked questions relating to my professional experience. The interview was very relaxed and not intimidating in the slightest. I was offered a position of the spot.

    Sales Associate Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Urban Outfitters (Baltimore, MD) in June 2015.

    Interview

The interview process began when I applied online through their website, a resume was requires and the cover letter was optional but I did both to be on the safe side. Two days later, I recieved an email to do a video interview through hirevue. Literally took like 5 minutes and they gave you practice questions start. My three real questions were to draw myself and explain how that drawing represents my fashion, art and music taste. Second question was to describe a bad customer service experience and then the third question was to describe a time that I was faced w/ a challenge and how I dealt with that. Two days after that, I recieved an email to do an wthics quiz which is pretty straight forward, just use your common sense lol. After that I was asked to come in for a group inteeview a week later, the interview was laid back and chill, just be yourself and have some basic knowledge of the brand. That same day I was asked to come back for a 2 interview w/ the store manager which was one on one. Very intimidating but still pretty laidback. Im still waiting to here back from them! My 2nd interview was yesterday lol.
