I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at VF.

Interview Details – Three interviews. 1 over the phone, 2nd in person, and 3rd bring you back if they like you. It took about 5 hours for steps two and three. Very picky company, more than you would think. Also, slow to get back but that seems very common.

I applied through a recruiter and the process took a day - interviewed at VF in June 2013.

Interview Details – Interviewed over the phone for a senior finance position. HR person seemed extremely rushed and disengaged. She went through a list of standardized questions, why VF? what will you bring to the table etc. It became obvious during the call that they were interviewing me simply to "interview" someone for a job that was being filled internally. No subsequent communication from the company.

I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at VF in January 2011.

Interview Details – Received call from HR to setup interview with the manager. HR did not do a screening interview. I felt a bit overqualified for the position, but saw some potential upward movement. The interviewer wasn't very experienced in interviewing and was only relaying my answers to the SVP. It was pretty typical behavioral questions.

I applied in-person - interviewed at VF in February 2014.

Interview Details – It was a telephone interview; so we were only two.
It has been programmed with a phone call before 2 days from the manager.
It was introduced well; I was able to make an accurate presentation of myself.
It lasted almost an hour.
The style of the interview, very open and friendly, gave me a sense of the culture of internal relations.

Interview Details – Recruiter made contact quickly after application was submitted and was very friendly and the actual interview was scheduled for within a week. Interviewers (2) were friendly as well and asked typical interview questions (strengths, weaknesses, tell me about past positions). The interview was very quick (under 10 minutes) but this was for a temporary position so I can see why it might not be a high priority.

I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at VF in January 2010.

Interview Details – i submitted my app online and got an e-mail back from a 'contract corporate recruiter'. the job i was applying for was really technical and he wasn't able to understand what i was talking about and so there wasn't a connection. when i asked him more details about the job requirements he wasn't able to answer my questions because he's 'contracted' judging by his title. i was totally qualified but wasn't able to filter through him because of his lack of knowledge of the actual job.
