I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Verizon Wireless in January 2012.

Interview Details – Initally applied in late September and received a call from a recruiter late November. I had 2 phone interviews (1 by the recruiter & the 2nd by a district manager) and a 1 on 1 interview with my hiring manager. They perform a background check, drug test, and they contact references that are on the application. (make sure they are good ones)

Interview wasn't too difficult. Be prepared to review your resume, answer questions regarding previous experience and how they relate to the current position you're applying for, situational questions (i.e: if an irate customer walked into the store, how would you handle the sitution?)

I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Verizon Wireless.

Interview Details – The recruiter I spoke with was extremely professional and recommended me for an interview. However, when I went in to the interview I met with two store managers who answered their texts while I was answering a question and one of them even checked sports scores on his computer while I was speaking in response to one of HIS questions. I've never felt so degraded in a job interview and plan not to apply again.

Interview Question – I don't even remember the questions now, it was all I could do not to yell at them.   Answer Question

I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Verizon Wireless in September 2013.

Interview Details – I filled out an online application which required an extensive background check of my work history, any criminal offense, or misdemeanors, etc. that I had in the past 7 years. I also had to take an assessment test which was lengthy. The assessment asked me about my personality, skills, scenario and behavioral questions, Math and English as well. After a week after I submitted my application, I was contacted by a member of HR who wanted to schedule a phone interview with me that same week. So two days after that, I had a phone interview with a different HR person who asked me lots of questions about my previous work experience, why I wanted to work for Verizon, behavioral and scenario questions (name a time when...) and she went over with me a bit more about the position, the salary, benefits, the training (3 weeks long) etc. And after the phone interview she told me I would be contacted in 1-2 weeks regarding a face to face interview. I have not received or declined any offers, I am just waiting now to hear back from Verizon.

Interview Question – Tell me about your work experience/history?
Why Verizon?
What do you want to gain out of a position with Verizon?
Why do you want to leave your current employer?
Tell me a time when you handled a difficult situation?
Tell me a time you went above and beyond the call of duty?
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at Verizon Wireless in August 2013.

Interview Details – This was a special 'hiring' day at a corporate office. They bring you into a conference room with 6 tables, each with other interviews going on. The first step was a 'HR person in training' going over your resume and asking a few cookie cutter questions. Then typing stuff into the computer. The last step was the district manager asking a few questions like a typical interview. Recall a time when you...

Interview Question – They do ask you to pitch a product (at their choosing). So be ready to pretend to sell something.   Answer Question
