    Interview

It took them a week after I put in my app, to get the call. The interview was the next day. Pretty simple interview. Just asked me ten questions I believe. Different then some lower jobs' interviews, the most professional that I've been to. I was working two days after the interview.

Got called in after 2 days after applying. They basically called me on the phone and told me what shifts I would be doing and when I'm available to do an interview. Walmart Cashier Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Lakewood, CA) in July 2015.

    Interview

Three Interview Process. First interview I spoke to the customer service manager. It was brief and asked about 5 situational questions. At the end of the interview she told me that they have a 2nd interview at 3:00 and expected me to be there. The 2nd interview was with the department manager (I believed) made me sign my application to make sure everything was correct, and asked me why I wanted the job, and then went on with 3 more situational questions. At the end of the interview he told me that they are still doing more interviews the next day that they should be calling for 3rd interviews Friday or Saturday. I didn't get the call for a 3rd interview until about a week later. I was lucky enough that my interviews were back to back. I talked to other people who had gotten the job as well during the drug testing and they told me they waited about 4 days for the 2nd interview. The 3rd interview was just with the store manage which only lasted not even 5 minutes. Just told me to tell me about myself. Then told me they still have to put me in the system and the 2nd interview would call me the next day to sign some more papers and give me a paper to do the drug testing. Its been about 4 days since I took the drug test and haven't heard anything back since then. I know I am good, but I heard sometimes the background checks take a few days to a week, and they still have to setup for orientation.

    Walmart Cashier Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Orlando, FL) in July 2015.

    Interview

There are three interviews in total. But they will only tell you as you go along the process if you are chosen to continue on to the "next round." To be completely honest, the interviews were easy. You just have to show them that you have that "bubbly" and friendly personality to be a cashier. And the questions they asked were all about situations and how you react to certain predicaments. I was nervous since this was my first official job I had to do an interview for, but once you start talking the edge will wore off and as long as you keep smiling you should get the job.
