    Recruiter Interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Walt Disney Company.

    Interview Details

Strangest interviews I've ever experienced. First interviewed via phone with dept head who talked most of the hour-long "interview." Before the call ended he said they would call me for the next step. Went to Burbank for in-person interview. The surroundings are very quiet, hot, no one walking around, not friendly - not like one would expect for this particular company.

During the next interview, the same person said all of the same stuff he said in the first interview. He had NO questions for me. It was up to me to interject why I was a fit, ask questions. When the interview ended I asked if he had any concerns about my ability to do the job and he said no. Then I didn't get the job. I wasn't even the slightest bit disappointed because it was so strange.

    Intern Interview

I applied online – interviewed at Walt Disney Company.

    Interview Details

I interviewed for a position in the Disney ABC Group. I applied on the Careers site and heard back from a recruiter the next day. A recruiter scheduled an interview with me and it was a short interview on the phone. He asked questions about my resume, work experience and fit with the company.

A different recruiter contacted me after my first interview to schedule a video interview (was not in the area) with the director of the department. I believe there was not a manager at the time. The interviewer was 15 minutes late because he did not realize the interview was via video. He was very outgoing, and asked a few questions about myself. He kind of came out as a little stuck up, as he hardly asked me any questions. He mostly asked me to ask him questions and I didn't get very much information about the job. During my interview some one in his office also interrupted the interview and he actually made me wait while he talked to the person who came in. It was a bit unprofessional in that regards. The interview overall was okay though, I wasn't sure if I got the position or not. I did not find out how I did on my interview/no feedback. I found out on Disney careers that I did not get the position.

    Interview Questions
    • Very easy overall, nothing too technical or really about the job. Just asked general questions about experiences and "give me a time when you had to come up with a solution after looking at data?"   Answer Question

Three Rounds. First got a call from HR, then the Manager and lastly got invited to the office. It was a very long process. The interview was pretty casual. Two analysts asked me to tell them about myself, some recent internship experiences, and whether I have experience related to Real Estate. They introduced what the job responsibility is and shared their work day.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Walt Disney Company in March 2013.

    Interview Details

I applied online through their job board and once was contacted via email by someone in HR wanting to set up a phone appointment. After the phone appointment (screening) I was invited to the lot in Burbank for an interview. I thought I would be interviewing with one person but I actually had three back to back interviews with the different supervisors in the department.

If you pass the resume period, then they believe you are qualified. If they like your resume, they will give you call where you will have an informal phone interview. If you "pass" then they will schedule a 1:1 interview. So if I would give advise, make sure your resume is "perfect."

I applied online. The process took a dayinterviewed at Walt Disney Company in October 2010.

    Interview Details

Applied online through Disney website; received email within a week. I had a first round phone interview lasting about 30 minutes. Disney HR for Parks & Resorts is in Florida, even though job was in Burbank/Glendale. Interviewer was very friendly, opened with the typical, "Tell me about yourself?" and "why do you want to work for Disney?" She explained the nature of the position, but would not discuss specifics or salary.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Walt Disney Company in February 2010.

    Interview Details

Went through a standard interview with the manager who would be my immediate boss. The following week, they brought me in for a second interview with the VP of Marketing. Both interviews were fairly typical "tell me about yourself!" interviews. They did talk a bit about the Disney employee culture... how their clean-cut, family-friendly image suits some people and not others.

I didn't have to perform any skills tests. The only thing out of the ordinary is that I had to bring a LOT of paperwork with me to the first interview. Employment history, residential history, etc. Basically, I had to sign over permission for them to run very thorough background checks on me.

I haven't heard a final answer yet. The 2nd interview was only yesterday morning...
