    Identity Access Management Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at WellCare (Tampa, FL).

    Interview

I had a interview with the team I would be working with then a separate interview with the manager. The team asked me very generic Active Directory questions like how to disable a user and how to give a user access to a server. They also asked how to get a ip address from a computer..... realy he did ask me that. The team did not seem very experienced in the field they are in and was randomly throwing Help Desk level questions at me. The manager was very professional and asked where I saw myself in the long term with my career and a time I had a difficult situation and how I handled it.

    Supervisor Interview

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at WellCare (Tampa, FL) in June 2015.

    Interview

First, I received a call from a recruiter to set up a time for interview. I was driving at the time, and didn’t realize until later the stated scheduled day/date did not match. No worries, the recruiter said she will send a confirmation email with interview details and I would know which day she meant. I never got that email, so I had to make myself available multiple days for the interview at the same time. Prior I tried calling to confirm, but could not get back in contact with the recruiter, though I stated her by name. The phone interview went fairly well, and I was told I should hear something within the week. Never heard anything back. I called back and got in contact with the interviewer who said she will follow up with the hiring managers, and apologized for the wait. 3 weeks later now, I still haven’t heard anything.

    Interview

The interview was very fair. No trick questions, just straight forward conversation about the requirements and expectations of the position. The Interviewer was a good listener and based her follow-up questions on my answers. She thoroughly explained the job at the outset which was very helpful.

    Interview

Wellcare should fire and hire new recruiters. I made it to the first round of interviews and then my recruiter became non responsive. After two weeks, I had to reach out to her and she notified me that the requisition was moved to another recruiter and that she would pass my information along for follow-up. Till this day I still have not heard back. My interview went really well since it is the exact position I am current employed in now. My friends also has an interview with WellCare and stated the same as me that it takes too long to hear back. She is suppose to be scheduled for a second interview but has not heard back. Worse recruiting and hiring managers ever.

    Senior Business Analyst Interview

interviewed at WellCare (Tampa, FL) in September 2014.

    Interview

Even though I had recommendations from several current employees it took some figurative arm twisting to even get someone to talk with me. Then all they focused on was the fact that I had been away from the healthcare industry for 3 years (have been working in financial industry). Nothing I said (such as the fact that I am accredited, I am taking courses to become current in healthcare again, etc. ) mattered. In fact, the sr. VP had the gall to laugh and say he just wanted to seey face when he blew me off. So I wasted a whole day of PTO for his amusement.

    Interview

Overall it was a great interview, the panelist (panel interview of 3 persons in total) were very relaxed and nice. They did raise some red flags regarding "just do your job and not run out the door when hearing the stuff around you", But, if Im offered the job I will still take based on the fact that I would have my supervisors support.

    IT Manager Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeksinterviewed at WellCare.

    Interview

HR interview, followed by phone screening, followed by face to face interview. I found WellCare to be extremely unprofessional. The HR person consistently failed to notify me in advance about the interview date/time and would often let me know on the day of the interview about the time saying she forgot to inform me earlier. On face to face interview many different people interviewed for 1 hr each. What was the most surprising factor was that NONE of them would go in detail about technology conversations. However, everyone was very respectful except for their VP. I found the VP most arrogant and rude. I decided after interview with him that even if they were to hire I would reject as I would never want to work under someone like him. He appeared to look for someone who would serve his orders rather than bring out the best for the company.

    Interview Questions

    • None. Most of them were very high level questions without any detail in technology.   1 Answer

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at WellCare.

    Interview

I had an initial phone interview with a recruiter who then facilitated the onsite interview. I met with 4 individuals including the hiring manager. Everyone was very nice and professional. I enjoyed speaking to everyone and had a positive impression of the company. Afterwards, I spent another 10-15 mins talking to the recruiter about how great the company is, what the benefits are, etc...I was sold! I was a great fit and optimistic I was going to be selected. A week went by and I received the generic system generated email rejection. I immediately emailed the recruiter, thanked him for the opportunity and was hoping to get some feedback. Of course I understand these things happen and they can't give you too much detail. No response. After another week, I emailed him again - I know everyone is very busy but after such a pleasant experience, being treated so courteously and having them show so much interest in me, I just needed to understand if I could have improved on something....anything! Still no reply. I don't think it's to much to ask for given that I spent almost 3 hours there. This leaves me with such a bad feeling about WellCare. Everyone says don't take it personal but being completely ignored is just about the rudest thing someone can do to you. I guess it's just a sign of the times. Even good candidates are disposable.
