    Interview Details

    Even though I had recommendations from several current employees it took some figurative arm twisting to even get someone to talk with me. Then all they focused on was the fact that I had been away from the healthcare industry for 3 years (have been working in financial industry). Nothing I said (such as the fact that I am accredited, I am taking courses to become current in healthcare again, etc. ) mattered. In fact, the sr. VP had the gall to laugh and say he just wanted to seey face when he blew me off. So I wasted a whole day of PTO for his amusement.

    Interview Details

    Overall it was a great interview, the panelist (panel interview of 3 persons in total) were very relaxed and nice. They did raise some red flags regarding "just do your job and not run out the door when hearing the stuff around you", But, if Im offered the job I will still take based on the fact that I would have my supervisors support.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeksinterviewed at WellCare.

    Interview Details

    HR interview, followed by phone screening, followed by face to face interview. I found WellCare to be extremely unprofessional. The HR person consistently failed to notify me in advance about the interview date/time and would often let me know on the day of the interview about the time saying she forgot to inform me earlier. On face to face interview many different people interviewed for 1 hr each. What was the most surprising factor was that NONE of them would go in detail about technology conversations. However, everyone was very respectful except for their VP. I found the VP most arrogant and rude. I decided after interview with him that even if they were to hire I would reject as I would never want to work under someone like him. He appeared to look for someone who would serve his orders rather than bring out the best for the company.

    I had an initial phone interview with a recruiter who then facilitated the onsite interview. I met with 4 individuals including the hiring manager. Everyone was very nice and professional. I enjoyed speaking to everyone and had a positive impression of the company. Afterwards, I spent another 10-15 mins talking to the recruiter about how great the company is, what the benefits are, etc...I was sold! I was a great fit and optimistic I was going to be selected. A week went by and I received the generic system generated email rejection. I immediately emailed the recruiter, thanked him for the opportunity and was hoping to get some feedback. Of course I understand these things happen and they can't give you too much detail. No response. After another week, I emailed him again - I know everyone is very busy but after such a pleasant experience, being treated so courteously and having them show so much interest in me, I just needed to understand if I could have improved on something....anything! Still no reply. I don't think it's to much to ask for given that I spent almost 3 hours there. This leaves me with such a bad feeling about WellCare. Everyone says don't take it personal but being completely ignored is just about the rudest thing someone can do to you. I guess it's just a sign of the times. Even good candidates are disposable.

    The process took a dayinterviewed at WellCare in May 2011.

    Interview Details

    Consisted of Phone interview with HR, and then a panel interview: three seperate 30 minute interviews with 2-3 people in each. Most people seemed like they have never interviewed someone before and lobbed a few questions. One guy almost seemed like he was asleep, and kept repeating the same question. They ended up going with someone with the exact skill set needed.

    Interview Details

    Phone interview to review my qualifications. Next round was for panel interview, first being with an HR Rep. Phone screen wasn't too challenging, more review of background and resume. Not a bad company, but the feeling is not one of security and long term retention. It seems the investigation has everyone on edge.

    The Group Panel interviewers were not warm. They didnot make me comfortable at all. Instead of starting the interview with the general introduction like "Tell me about yourself", they started shooting q's one at a time.

    I flew to FL to interview for the position after 3 phone interviews. I left multiple voice-mails to check on the status of the position with no response. I find this to be unprofessional and I always keep my candidates posted when interviewing. It's been over a month and a half and I haven't heard anything.
