Phone interview/screen with hiring manager followed by an interview with some potential co-workers. Did not have to wait too long for the result. Overall not a bad experience.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at WellPoint.
My interview was 8 years ago, so process has changed since then I suppose. First interview was by phone, then they asked me to fly here for a second in person interview. I was interviewed by a panel consisting of the lady who would be my manager and 3 other managers from the same department. They asked great questions, there was wonderful synergy between us, my references checked out and I got the job.
- Tell us about your biggest weakness. Answer Question
My manager told me that she was limited to a specific dollar amount, that she knew it was on the low side and would make it up to me at raise time. She was as good as her word.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WellPoint.
I applied and recieved an initial call from a recruiter, then about two days later heard from the hiring manager. THe interview was very standard and pleasant. There were standard questions regarding my employment history and scenarios relative to critical and analytic thinking, as well as a writing test

- Declined OfferNeutral ExperienceEasy Interview
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WellPoint in December 2014.
After applying, they emailed an assessment that contained three parts. After that assessment, an email arrived to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was an operator asking detailed questions about yourself, salary expectations, previous employment, etc. After, another email was received to schedule a panel interview. Upon panel interview, employment offer was given.
Reasons for Declining
Low pay for my experience and education.

I have an interview tomorrow with WellPoint for the UR position. I'm kin of nervous since I intentionally interviewed for a case management position, but they had a hiring freeze.

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at WellPoint (New York, NY) in November 2014.
Met with the hiring manager who was friendly and very personable, made me feel comfortable from the very beginning which made the process less stressful. I was asked basic questions about my experience and industry knowledge as well as software applications. Was also given hypothetical scenarios to see how I deal with coworkers/members. Met with a 2nd person immediately and read a paragraph in Spanish, answered more hypotheticals.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at WellPoint (Thousand Oaks, CA).
Applied online, was contacted by the hiring manager to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was a quick 10 minute screening to make sure I'm interested in the job and that my general qualifications were legitimate, and it quickly translated into an on-site interview about a week later. The on-site was nearly a full-day interview - 6 credentialed actuaries, 45 minutes each. I don't think there was anything unexpected, and felt most of the interviews were very casual and nice; in the spare time, I was able to talk about some personal things which made me feel more comfortable overall. Be prepared to talk about your previous experience as they will want to know how much of it is relevant to the current position. I was asked a couple of riddles, but it was more of a way to see how you think, rather than being pressed for getting it right. Two weeks after the interview, I was extended an offer. I was also given a very accurate timeline when I followed up a week after the interview, which I appreciated and respected very much.
- Describe the most intellectual project you've done. Answer Question
No negotiation - the compensation was very competitive for my level.

I applied online. I interviewed at WellPoint.
The first contact was by the recruiter stating my resume was forwarded to the hiring manager. The hiring manager contacted me fairly quickly a few days later to set up a formal interview. I arrived at the location on time and had to check in at the security desk. The interview process went well with only the hiring manager and lasted about 1 hour. The manager was very nice and pleasant. The questions were very straightforward with no surprises. Overall, the experience more than met my expectations.
- The questions were Project related questions. Tell me about a project you were working on with a difficult experience and how did you handle it? Answer Question

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WellPoint in September 2014.
I filled out an app online and received an email right away for an assessment, then another one once the first one was completed. Received an email for an interview, then a week later received an email to complete an app through Hireview. Received a call about two days later with an offer.

Interviewed and Hired over the phone with multiple people through out the country. Some of the interviews were groups of leaders that were wanting to see if I had what they needed. It was interesting in that I could not see them or facial reactions and had to go by tone of voice. Once I accepted it then took awhile to get all the paper work completed for the company the use called "Right Hire" - I was on vacation trying to complete everything they wanted. Did accomplish getting it done and hired while I was on vacation.
- Most difficult was trying to understand they were wanting to put in a new program in my market and wanted someone with start up experience. Once I understood what they were looking for ite went very smoothly. Answer Question
