    Part Time Teller Interview

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Wells Fargo.

    Interview Details

I applied online. The application is pretty standard. There's an assessment following the application with basic customer service questions. A day or two later, I received an email from HR stating that I had passed the assessment with an interview date and time. (It had a link to click if the date given didn't work) The email stated that it was a group interview, and also discussed dress code for the interview.

The interview itself was fairly painless, it was a group interview with ten people total. We were taken to a room and sat around a table. Water, pen & paper, a note sheet, and a mini application (Name, date, position applying for, and availably) was placed in front of all interviewees.

It started out by the recruiter introducing herself and going over the job duties of a teller. She also told us that the pay was 11.23/hour. The part time teller position has 17-27 hours a week, based on performance and branch needs.

We then had to go around and introduce ourselves. Most described their job history, any education they had that related to the job. We were also asked to tell why we wanted to work for Wells Fargo.

Once introductions were done, the recruiter went over the values and vision of the company.

We were then asked three interview questions. She asked one question at a time, and took answers from those who volunteered. Once everyone had answered she moved to the next question until all three questions were answered by everyone.

The interview concluded by the recruiter going over career paths and opportunities within the company. She also gave everyone the opportunity to ask questions. We were told that if we were to be considered for the job, we would receive a phone call from the store manager. If they didn't think we were a fit, then you would receive an email stating so.

    Phone Banker I Interview

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Wells Fargo.

    Interview Details

Sent in Resume, a couple weeks later received an phone interview. I was told I was over qualified for the position but they had a Sale Specialist position open but it didn't start for a month and a half. Asked if I could start as a phone banker, was told NO I was over qualified. When I explained that I have been out of work for 3 months already and really couldn't wait another month and a half with no income, I was told "well good luck then" and they hung up.

These people obviously have no sole and do give any care about their employees or people.

Recruiter offered to reschedule but didn't reschedule. The first interview was a breeze yet was not chosen for the second round although more experienced and a better communicator.

Maybe the job posting should read "experience: 1 yr or more but less than 2 years".

I applied online. The process took 4 daysinterviewed at Wells Fargo.

    Interview Details

I applied online, took a test and received an email for a group interview the same day. I chose a time slot that was 5 days away so that I could have some time to prepare. I was pretty nervous about it since I had never done a group interview before and wasn't sure how to stand out in the crowd. Lucky for me, I was the only person scheduled for the interview that day. So the group interview actually because an one-on-one session.

The interview asked me a few standard questions starting with "Please introduce yourself and why you want to work for Wells Fargo", he then asked if I had encountered any difficult situations with a customers and how I resolved the problem. The third question was what was my biggest achievement professionally. I had prepared answers for all these questions, so I did pretty well. The interviewer then explained that he really liked me and implied that he would move my profile along. He informed me that the response could be longer than 5 days (max wait time for second interview.....if any) cause of the holidays. He gave me his business card and asked me to give me a call if I didn't hear back from them with 2 weeks. We then chatted for a couple minutes about holiday plans and stuff as a wrap-up. The whole interview lasted about 40 minutes.

I got a call from a branch manager the next day asking me to go in for the second interview. I'm very excited......haven't done the interview yet. I'll update this review with more information on it when I'm done with it next Monday.

    Wish me luck, guys!

The first step in the hiring process in a phone interview where you have to call into a phone line and wait for one of the bank managers to answer the phone. If you do well during this stage you are invited to a round robin style interview with 6 managers of the bank who overlook several different interns in different rotations. Each manager has a different set of scripted questions that they tend to ask a few from. Some of the managers just want to get to know you as an individual and do not ask the scripted questions.
