I applied online and the process took 4 days - interviewed at Yogurtland.

Interview Details – I went on their website and applied to the locations that I wished to work at. Literally a few days later, I got a call from the manager. He asked a few personal questions such as: if I want to work here for financial stability, if I go to school, if I live with my parents, etc. Also the typical, "why do you want to work here." Then we scheduled an interview for that day, and a few days later, he called back saying that I was hired. They were mainly questions pertaining to my life, not interview questions for the store. This was probably the easiest interview I have ever had and I got the job within a few days of applying online. Even if they don't put out a sign saying that they are hiring, apply online anyway because you might just get the job. Just be yourself, smile, and show them that you have what it takes to get the job.

Interview Question – The most unexpected questions were the math problems   View Answer

I applied online and the process took 4 days - interviewed at Yogurtland.

Interview Details – I applied to Yogurtland through their online application and the manager of the location I applied for emailed me the next day about setting up an interview. Once I arrived to Yogurtland in the following days, I asked the cashier if I could speak to the manager and she said the manager left and didn't know where she went, even though my interview was in fifteen minutes. I waited for the manager to get back and she came half an hour late. She was in a rush and we sat down outside while she asked me very basic questions like "are you comfortable with cleaning counters, are you comfortable cutting fruit, are you comfortable cleaning under the foot of tables?" Then she asked if I have ever been a team leader. The interview lasted for only five minutes and she asked me when I was available to start working and I told her not until the Summer. She then said she was looking for someone right now on the spot since they were currently short on staff, so I did not get the job. Overall, it was an unprofessional experience on the manager's behalf.

Negotiation Details – Didn't get the chance to negotiate

If you're ok with unprofessional managers, getting picked on, expected to learn things in a couple of days without having experience, not being taught everything by your slow lazy manager who constantly gossips and being stalked by corporate in every move you make this is the job for you.

I applied in-person and the process took a day - interviewed at Yogurtland in September 2010.

Interview Details – Turned in my application to the store, got a call a few days later to come in for an interview. He pulled out my application and asked me a couple general questions. I didn't get the feeling the answers were really that important - it seemed like he was more trying to get a sense of what kind of person I was (friendly, responsible, etc.). He then hinted that I was one of the top candidates (probably based mostly on my application answers, since I didn't think I did an amazing job with the interview, and it was really short). After a few weeks, I didn't get a call back, so I gave them a call to follow up - he said I had been very close, but they would keep my application on file in case a position opened up. I didn't hear from them again.

I applied in-person and the process took 2 days - interviewed at Yogurtland in August 2011.

Interview Details – There are a couple of yogurtland places in my city. I went to one picked up an application made three copies filled it out and dropped it off at three locations. I asked to see the manager on all three and only on my third yogurtland was the manager actually there.
I asked to speak to her and handed it in personally, she didnt even look like she read it at all. She stood there looked at me and asked me why i wanted to work there. I told her i love yogurtland and how its fresh and healthy and all that good stuff. I actually kinda talked too much because i dont think she knew even what to ask me. She gave me an on the spot interview but she didnt ask much questions i just acted friendly and bubbly and she saw that i was a customer service orientated person. So she said she would give me a call. in about two days i got a call to come in for an interview and asked if i could make it there in an hour ( 9pm) i did and there was one person already getting interviewed. i waited for about 10 mins and then they called me over. I was the two owners, owners wife, and manager. They just asked simple questions and i just talk and talked and made them laugh. two days later got a call asked if i was still interested and now i work there.
