    I worked at A. M. Castle full-time for more than 8 years


    diversity of employee backgrounds and experience. many different ideas brought to the table. there are a lot of opportunities as the corporation is diverse and spread out all of the US and globally.


    unclear direction and vision presented from top down. across the board the vision, and goals are not well aligned and they often conflict across interrelated work groups.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    communicate, communicate, communicate. Glassdoor lists the previous CEO There has been a new CEO since October 2012. please update the records. The company I joined 10 years ago was known for it's employee treatment and perks. the company I left only cares about the bottom line numbers. while bottom line numbers is how any business succeeds on paper creating an environment where employees care about their place of employment is critical to long term success.
