I have been working at A. M. Castle full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

great company 10-15 years ago before it went "corporate"
great employees (office, traffic, warehouse) that care for their job.

    Cons

shareholders are the top priority not the customer. how can a bussiness succeed if their customer is not the top priority?
no communication between management and workforce
implementation of "the flavor of the month" business strategies.
    "Bottom line" mentality.
Short term goals set by "drive thru" upper management.
lack of commitment from leadership towards long term goals.
save money by loosing bussiness "strategy".
save money by taking it from their employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    reevaluate your priorities:
1.- The Customer and always the customer
    2.- Employees
if you take care of the customer and employees, they will take care of you (the owners)

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
