For some markets ADP has a competitive solution - especially for organizations with less than 500 employees.

ADP is a services company not a technology company. ADP spends significantly less of their revenue on R&D than other software companies. Their spend is more in line with a bank's ratios. That means that if you are a software professional, you might be frustrated that the expectations of leadership doesn't match the availability of resources to deliver. This is especially challenging when competing at the higher end of the market against Workday, SAP, and Oracle. Cost cutting, off shoring aggravate this problem. Then bring in leaders to the up-market (NAS) business from the SMB business and expectations continue to be unrealistic. It's a time of upheaval in national accounts. But for Majors and SMB perhaps its a better spot.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Watch out for rewarding the bullys from sales and executive ranks while penalizing those that get work done in trying circumstances.
