I have been working at Agilysys full-time for more than 5 years

-If you like to travel it's excellent
-Some of the products are pretty fantastic (although need modernization)
-Fantastic co-workers (decent managers, awful executives)

-Only drive is profit with functionality and modernization second
-Upper level management tries to be "cool" but instead comes off as arrogant, distant and extremely secretive
-Upper management loves to make spur of the moment decisions with little planning and extremely poor training
    -Zero drive to improve employees
-Massive division of employees. Truly a sense of "us" vs. "them" when it comes to executives
-HR is full of flowery happy emails but contain little to no substance
-Would rather send out a company wide email about wearing favorite football jerseys instead of something actually informative, functionally positive, and useful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If an employee was to go on-site with a client with zero ability to answer their questions that employee would be chastised heavily. However exec management feels that making major decisions without having all the i's dotted and t's crossed is perfectly fine.

And a massive percentage of your workforce deals directly with clients. Stop sending employees logo cups and emails about football teams and instead turn some of that focus on actually IMPROVING staff!
