    The US branch office is the worst place I've worked at

    I worked at Agoda


    It was an emerging brand in the US. The growth was strong, promising. Exciting opportunities.


    Micromanagement will be a downfall of this place. Some director looks at the clock once you leave your desk. The management team does not work with the clients-- all they do is just looking at your CRM reports and trying to find out why your productivity is not what they expected. The company definitely lost some great people in the US team because of the micromanaging system.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Start being real to your employees. You can't expect everyone to be a machine. Director should start doing their job instead of reading reports everyday and have meetings to discuss productivity. Provide real support and stop being overly critical to people who fight very hard for the company.
