    Very sad to say Bayada has lost its focus on client compassion and care and has become solely profit driven and greedy.

    I have been working at BAYADA Home Health Care full-time (more than 3 years)


    The only pros are one to one client care, and the ability for field staff to manage and schedule their own clients...But if you have a productivity commitment this can work against you.


    Field staff with advanced educational degrees/experience, ie occupational, physical , speech and nursing professionals are treated like drones.who are expected to see as many clients as possible regardless of productivity/contract commitments.Office Staff is BONUSED on field staff labor.!!!! Professional Clinical judgement is constantly challenged by nonclinical management staff who are compensated by FIELD STAFF productivity. The company is being run by bean counters who have NO idea about patient care...
    Field staff who are purported to be the company's " greatest asset" are treated like second class citizens..Yearly elaborate Award's Weekends, Holiday Parties, Holiday gifts, Quarterly Bonuses,Ongoing Company Paid Continuing Education/training is solely reserved for office staff. PTO time, health insurance and pay vastly differ for office and field staff.. Its as if you work for TWO DIFFERENT companies... Its a shame..

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    PLEASE , PLEASE STOP with the " BAYADA HIGH FIVE! " BS...ITS OFFENSIVE , and degrading. Reward and respect your staff for their time and professional capabilities. . Compensation should be commensurate with degree and experience. Grant the field staff the opportunity to participate in corporate sponsored educational seminars, awards weekends and all the bonuses made available to office workers. Shift or spread out your bonus and incentive structure to include your productive field staff , rather than just your office staff...This may actually promote more of a "TEAM" environment! Stop taking PTO time from guaranteed staff that don't meet productivity commitments b/c the census is low!! This creates a very negative mindset and we don't want to help when the census is high....Its a give and take in homecare...PAY field staff for their time!!! .Don't ever forget your original focus which was client care.."Pursue Excellence and Success Will Follow"....Sorry to say, Bayada has truly lost its focus ...
