    I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time (more than 3 years)


    Comrade on the ground level between employees. Lower level management flexible and accommodating to employee needs. Benefit and vacation time is above average.


    Let's be real - the merit increases are terrible and a total disservice to the staff that represent the company.
    CEO Gerald Hassell and his sidekicks hoard the money and throw chicken scraps to the employees.
    Absolute disconnect from Corporate as to the needs and well being of the lower level staff.
    A lot of negativity and bad mouthing of the company on the floor due to corporate neglect and disrespect.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop being so greedy to yourselves and shareholders and reward employees for their hard work. Merit increases should average 3-5%. Anything less is a total slap in the face for all those who work long hours and sacrifice on your behalf.
    Gerald Hassell, do all the employees a favor and stop sending corporate wide emails explaining company business and performance. It's all a sham and no one cares!
    Next time you send out an employee wide survey as real and sensitive questions that will engage employees at a serious level. Not the nonsense and typical questions that are framed so you hear what you want to hear.

    Advice to Shareholders: Fire Gerald Hassell and all of corporate staff. Demand employee merit increases and work climate are improved. Yeah! That'll ever happen?
