    I worked at Brooks Automation

    Pros

Right off major highways of Rt. 3 and I-495
Some great talented and knowledgeable worker bees- before they are beaten down or let go.

    Cons

Job postings that consistently include veiled threats that mistakes are not tolerated.
    Recent examples
Manufacturing Engineer: Impact of errors may have implications requiring significant expenditure of resources to correct and/or achieve project goals.
Technical Support Engineer: Erroneous decisions would normally result in a failure to reach goals crucial to organizational objectives.
Financial Analyst: Impact of errors may have implications requiring significant expenditure of resources to correct and/or achieve project goals.
Do candidates really need to be reminded mistakes can be bad? Message appears to be you better not make them. Brooks is the type of organization where credit flows upward and blame downward. Do you really think you would flourish in that atmosphere?

Business Outlook- Don't know but I can read an Income Statement
Negative Operating Income the last two quarters but SG&A continues to rise. Got a margin problem there or are you discounting prices too much?
Declining Revenue the last two years - where is the top line growth? Selling off money making product portfolios and divisions but have yet to make up their lost revenue elsewhere.
    FY13 had negative income.
Should be interesting to see how they spin FY14

10 cent dividend is OK but where is the share price growth?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None- But just know a vast majority of your employees dislike you very much. But why would you care.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
