I have been working at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

State of the art equipment and knowledgeable staff. Highly informative in services and trainings. Good cafeteria food.

    Cons

A lack of general compassion for patients. Required to document cookie cutter, mechanical, lots of med-bots. Overall "unfriendly" sense.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Offer your employees a mentor or help with new equipment. New people coming in can't just already know all you expect of them. Unrealistic expectations and standards. Stop expecting everyone to document on breaks or go to computer Labs after working all day and stay late. PAY your part time employees a better wage hourly, you wonder why none of them want to shift from PRN and its because you pay poorly for what you demand.
