    I have been working at Burger Rehabilitation Systems full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    They only make verbal promises but have you sign unenforceable contracts that intimidate you to pay them back money if you leave even if they did not give you a sign on bonus. H1B applicants beware, it will take over 5 years and they will still intimidate you with unlawful clauses in their contracts

    Cons

    Unfortunately, the Pros were already pretty bad. They are not interested in care, your patients, or you at all. A regional director even referred to elderly patients at "children" and eluding to the fact that they deserve less. The elderly are not children. And if you had to work with children... does that mean you're suppose to treat them less?
    They are immature in handling employee grievances and are retaliatory in nature. No job is worth is. You became a therapist because you have a caring personality. Don't get sucked it. Any weird clauses in your contract. Call the Labor Department. Its free. They are relying on you not to want to spend money on a lawyer for their unlawful contracts. Bottom line, the labor department is free and can advise you. You should not have to pay they just because you want to leave and get a better job even. Really. This is true. Not too many employees talk about it because they have been scared. Do not support this type of environment.

    Times up. Not everyone can be bullied or manipulated.
