I have been working at Capital One full-time (more than a year)Pros
Compensation, Benefits, Work/Family Balance, PTO, culture of company, everything..... is amazing.Cons
Once you are accept a position (ie. I am in the call center line of business in an hourly position) you will not be able to make more than 2 pay grade jumps (even if you are qualified fully for a salaried position in another line of business ie. IT).
My advice: apply for what you plan on doing in the long run, this is an easy company to move around in (as long as you are in the same pay grade), but if you plan to get your foot in the door with an hourly position just to move to salaried because you are finishing your degree in a year, think again. You will have to leave and come back to Capital One to be taken seriously, just as I am in the process of doing.
Some call center departments are being run to the ground, and floor managers don't always have best interest of their people at hand.Advice to ManagementAdvice
