    Pros

Steady, 40 hrs/week, amazing benefits, plenty of training, opportunity for advancement (if available), Gym, gated parking, great way to learn about the city's power infrastructure, possible opportunity to work under P.E. if an EIT.

    Cons

Management is old school. Simply, most of the people who are managers or supervisors have been working there for a number of years, (lets say 10 for instance) and seem to be given priority. Management skill level does not seem as important.
Lower level employees seem to have a hard time having their voice heard.
Too much sucking up and not enough accountability for the work being done.
There are old systems that are in place that need to be updated. Engineers and crews, need to be on the same page.
Software is the oldest version available for the current operating system (now Win 7).

    Advice to Management

Don't ignore the high turnover rate. Look at the management and question their ability to lead others.
