    I worked at Comcast full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Nice benefits, time off is generous, excellent paid training allowance... better than most BY FAR. weekly training pay and travel allowance can top 1 grand a week. Great until it expires

    Cons

    Micromanaged with tracking device on I-pad. It tracks your location in (almost) real time, door knocks, dispositions, sales and times you left the field to go to Targets to pee. New mandatory field hours are 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Afraid of a dark street at night? Too bad.
    Potentially a good job until terrible installers who are outside contractors (some of them) ruin your deal by being late or not showing up For an install. Ticked off householder calls you and cancels. You don't get paid because someone in the chain of service does not take their job seriously. Also, sometimes customer service reps will change your coding to a new deal that is being processed and STEAL your deals unless your on top of your commissions. Mean customer service reps may sometimes cause angry customers to cancel their service
    Your commission that you earned months ago can be CHARGED BACK because of this.
    A potentially wonderful job is ruined because of such nonsense.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Re-branding yourself as INFINITY will not get rid of the poor customer service, no show installers and angry clients. STOP JUST GOING WITH THE FLOW because your getting a fat check. Be an agent of change and keep more win-back reps!
