Former Employee - Waitress in Smithfield, NC

I worked at Cracker Barrel part-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Co-workers are friendly. Most management is personable.

    Cons

Hours are not enough. To many employees scheduled. Insurance was deplorable. Some management techniques outdated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Use your employees better. 80 part-timers are never as efficient as 50 full-timers. And pay them more than the $2.13 an hour you start them out. Inflation goes up but waitress pay never does.
