I have been working at Dairy Farmers of America full-time (less than an year)

Many of the people are honest, hardworking and motivated. The pay is competitive.

The plant I work at expects between 32-132 hours overtime a month from all production employees. The variation in overtime is due to the horrendous turnover rate, which leaves many employees working twelve hour shifts for months at a time to fill gaps. Do not expect to have weekends. The company will take advantage of you, and you will not have a life while working here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend time in the plant and show your face in the production areas, even if just for ten minutes. If you expect your workers to come in on weekends, do the same. Lead by example and cut the "if you don't want to be here, leave" attitude.
