-some great people to work with
-benefits are decent
-nice clean and modern working environment
-near the beach
-The owner Jonathan Ord is awesome and respects and genuinely cares about you as an employee and person.Cons
-Management is very difficult to approach with the fear of being ridiculed
-The one person at the company, Jonathan Ord that cares unfortunately doesn't often see what's going on under his nose by his management team. They don't represent him well at all which is a shame because he deserves better than that.
-Unrealistic goals which make it hard to reach
-Promotions appear to be for the same type of people if not the same people
-HR is horrible to approach!!! God forbid you need their help or point out their mistakes, they will have a million excuses and somehow find a way to make it your fault instead.
-Hiring process is too easy and training is rushed when the employee is clearly not ready, which makes our customers frustrated and overall makes Dealersocket look like!
-No 401k matching
-PTO should NOT be used when you're sick and there should be vacation time. Unfair and unethical. Rules CONSTANTLY changing in regards to this also.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Stop promoting "brown nosers"in the company. Make sure they can actually do the job!
Management needs to be less emotional or in some cases emotionless! We need to know we can rely and use you as a reliable source. Some supervisors are more reliable than some of the directors or managers.....need to lead by example!!!
They need to stick up for their employees more instead of always assuming we were in the wrong. Treating "Favorites" better than everyone else needs to stop, it's so obvious and it's completely unprofessional!!
Compensation needs to improve, esp to those who have been here for awhile. There should be an option to work from home depending on your position. Why keep bodies in the building if it's not necessary when they can do the same thing from home. If trust is the issue then why did u hire that person in the first place??!!
Execs, and upper management all need to re-evaluate themselves and maybe the company will grow to an even more amazing place! We should all be treated like we deserve to be here everyday. There is also life outside of Dealersocket, but while we are working here, make the DS life worth living or be prepared for good employees to start leaving.Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookApproves of CEO
