    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Go back to checks...you have the brand strength there - you took too big a leap with your small business offerings in the Deluxe name. Get rid of the consultants that don't have the experience to develop your programs. All they do is use bully tactics and outsource everything to cut costs. Nothing works as far as systems go and make team members jobs very difficult. You say the difference is Customer Service - it's not. Select services sold to customers are things that they can do for free!

    If you are going to continue with the small business items, go back to the drawing board. Get real experts in there, utilize the companies you purchased and look at it from the Customer's perspective and offer services that are meaningful to them and their businesses. Deluxe was a great company who cared about it's employees and customers. I wish you future success by remembering how you got there in the first place.
