I have been working at Extreme Networks full-time (More than 3 years)Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDoesn't RecommendNeutral Outlook
Work with terrific people across all roles and geographies. Very flexible work environment overall with work from home or in the office as you see fit... Pretty good benefits overall. They have some truly differentiating technology too....
.....however, there is very little agreement within the company on how to leverage this differentiation in the marketplace. Lots of work "silos" happening with no clear direction, or strategy. The merge of Enterasys and Extreme has been more of a collision than an integration and corporate culture has suffered greatly with lots of great people leaving because of this. There is currently no clear direction or identity for the company. Just laid off 18% of the company with others leaving on their own. Very gloomy feeling within the company right now overall.
Advice to Management
You say you have a plan.... lets see if it makes sense.... HUGE changes are needed soon or this company will be broken up and sold in pieces...
