Current Employee - Senior Center Manager in Chicago, IL

I have been working at FedEx Office full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Great Benefits
Great people in the organization (not all, but many)
    Potentially great everyday work experience

    Cons

Payroll slashed every fiscal year and sometimes even more during the year
Too many KPIs (30 some metrics?!?)
Too much middle management between corporate and centers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Difference in pay between Tier 2 managers and Tier 1 managers isn't worth the added responsibilities or headaches. The switch to a part time employee model is painful for salaried managers.
