Almost a perfect place to work but needs a few changes to get there.

I have been working at Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis full-time (more than 10 years)

Great benefits, lots of holidays off, paid vacation up to 5 weeks after years requirement is met. Cafeteria in building, nice office's, friendly people.

Work loads are uneven. Some have alot to do and some not enough. Seems that pay raises are not an option anymore after you reach a certain point and even if your a performer if your at that point your not recognized for it (pay raise, etc). This is at the employee level doesn't seem to affect the management level.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management claims they want to listen to employees ideas and suggestions through surveys, but it seems anything suggested is usually shot down. Yearly review process is usless. If a person is good enough to have worked for a company a full year in good standing they should get rewarded for it (raise, bonus, etc) Why do the review if there is nothing else to achieve...just say good job and keep up the good work.
