GE works on big initiatives which can be inspirational to employees. The company has resources, technology, and history on its side.

GE has many of the pains of being a large organization with a history of acquisitions. This can create challenges in communication and business navigation for employees and customers alike, but can be an opportunity for those looking to improve the company to move quickly and solve problems.

    Advice to Management

Continue to drive towards innovation and increasing margin through software and services. Be careful not to price yourself out of the market, however. Lately, large revenue misses have been coupled with high profitability which may mean loosing shrinking market share going forward and exhausting/stressing and stretching legacy opportunities.
