Former Intern - FMP Co-op in Norwalk, CT
Former Intern - FMP Co-op in Norwalk, CT

I worked at GE as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

    Brand Name
    Competitive Pay
Lots of great learning experiences outside of the day-to-day tasks
    Challenging

    Cons

    Red Tape everywhere
Lack of consistency throughout the company
Some groups can be very disorganized due to relatively quick turnover among leadership (avg time between either vertical or horizontal movement is 2 years)
    Lots of finger pointing
Very little motivation from other employees (not in FMP) who are working in the lower tiers of the company

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Increase Accountability
Motivate the uninterested people at the lower levels of the organization
    Simplification of processes

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO
