Not so good. Lacks creativity and opportunities to grow. Poor compensation as compared to other companies in the area.

I worked at Glu full-time (more than a year)

Nice people to work with. Free snacks, drinks and caltrain pass.

Innovation is definitely not the name of the game when it comes to Glu. The company makes sequels of previous hits, hoping to make similar kind of money, instead of being aggressive and innovating.
Your work will not be appreciated unless you are "buddies" with management. A lot of time and energy is spent on enforcing trivial rules rather than helping employees to be more productive. You will face the wrath of the management in case you deviate from these "rules" and the aforementioned "buddies" won't.
Glu doesn't pay their employees well and is way below industry average which will probably make it harder to attract and retain top talent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to innovate instead of rehashing the old stuff over and over again. Make sure you pay your employees well.
