HQ is a mess. Saving money is their goal. Everything else comes second . . . There has not been a formal layoff but dozens of managers were let go in last year. It's chaotic. Facilities are out of date and cleaning is below par. Quality standards are weak. No time with supervisors to work out issues 1 on 1 or with unit/dept. Salaries are 20% less than 30 miles away in Westchester. Benefits are constantly increased in cost and cover less. HR biz partners are never available and don't know their job. This has been true for years and gotten worse in last year with new CEO and his cronies from Chicago.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Time for you to get merged with a larger system.
Make executive team accountable.
Treat employees fairly.
Get rid of 1960s mindset and find new CEO
