Decent pay for the area (but not the field). Great coworkers, everyone does the best they can with the minimal resources allotted them.

Being the only game in town allows management to underpay and overwork their employees. No capital investment has been made since ownership changed hands and now the facility is outdated and inefficient. They pay outside consultants to parrot the same grievances employees have been saying for years rather than invest in the company. Departments are afraid to help one another lest the consultants deem it "overlap" so getting anything done is slow and painful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in employee retention, the incompetent and geographically trapped are a poor talent pool. We are basically a sad training facility for ALK.
