    I worked at ION Geophysical

Company with a leadership team that understands the company needs to change in order to continue to grow.

Acquisitions occur without truly integrating the newly acquired organization into the company culture. When I started in my division, employees still had the email signatures with the former company (acquisition had occurred years ago). The executive team in Houston did not spend much time in this division nor had a local leadership team that was interested in integrating the workplace.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Newly developed or acquired divisions get lots of attention, while more established ones stay in the background. Someone on the executive team should focus on breaking down the silos between the different lines of business.
