    I worked at Imperial College London full-time (more than an year)


    Imperial does a lot for the professional development of its employees. It's a very good University with really good colleagues.


    As usual in many academic fields: Too many Post Docs, too few more stable career options.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    As long as there are 100 PhD to 3.3 lecturers (IC careers service info if I remember correctly), Post Docs in particular in fields with litlle exposure to the private sector will be abused and then dumped (simple maths!). IC cannot do much but could do more to lobby relevant politicians and funding bodies.
