Inphi has some killer technology. They have worked hard over a long time to engineer a good high speed product line, and may well be leaders in that. They also have some high levels of expertise in the memory space and try valiantly with some success in continuing to provide valuable products. I was fortunate to work with a quality group of reasonable people getting things done. Seems like a family value kind of place at first, with many people actually having families in addition to young folks. I believe there is some good technology, and so it is a good opportunity to get involved in what one might call "high tech."
Many people complain about turf war and politics. It is unclear why a company that is not too large must already be engaged in this kind of nonesense, but that is what people say. People complain about long hours, which leaves one with the question of whether working here is good for life.
