old-school upper mgmt. TECHNOLOGY. compensation. Trust issues with upper mgmt/executive team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This is my second review of the company with the first one I did a few years ago. By far the biggest issue between then and now is the downward spiral of the executive team. Specifically, here are the issues:
-- executives growing increasingly out of touch with front line employees: very high tension in the corporate office
    -- extremely slow to change
-- strong reluctance to allow mid level mgmt for flexibility and ownership
-- TECHNOLOGY: 10 years ago when I started there was a hint that we were getting new internal systems. Still waiting and things are getting worse as we get farther and farther behind in this area. not only are we suffering internally but our clients and competitors see it quite clearly
-- questionable perks taken by upper mgmt; a 'pyramid scheme' sales strategy
-- failure to spend money where needed (e.g. Technology)
Ultimately there needs to be a serious change in leadership (executive team and board). Trust has been lost between employees and upper mgmt and our vision is stale and outdated. Our services are very costly for clients and we need more flexibility (pricing, service options) for the smaller clients and a much better technological infrastructure to support them. Paul did a great job starting this company and running it for 30 years but its time for a new vision otherwise we face irrelevancy, loss of business and a serious downturn in the value of the company.
