    I have been working at InterContinental Hotels Group full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Benefits are great. Health insurance, vacation time, personal time, bereavement time, seasonal parties, education assistance.

    Cons

    The only people who seem to get promoted are friends with management or young kids that have learned the art of sucking up to managers.
    Commission doesn't pay out much. You're lucky to get $100 extra. if your in the high end IC market it ends up paying much less. Advise- stay in VOICE department. You'll make more.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Consider looking at employees who have stuck with the company for some years for promotion. The fact you move brand new employees that are young kids to management or trainers is a slap in the face for long term employees looking to move up in a company that they've been loyal to for so long.
