    I have been working at International Paper full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Tex mill has a good market for the products it makes. Occasional market driven downtime but good solid future.

    Cons

    The Tex mill was built on the cheap and suffers from it. You can make butter with a toothpick, but its damn hard. Review system dictates lots of low performers even when you look at what they do and are impressed at what they do. So messed up. Raises are good for younger engineers, not so much for more experienced.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Moral is low because expectations are unrealistic. Figure out what is most important and keep the focus there. When you say you know your people are overloaded but don't help them it loses there interest in performing well.
