I worked at Invesco full-time (More than 8 years)
Great company with great people. A growing company that will soon be one of the top investment firms in the world. Markets products to advisers, does not market directly to the public.
Limited upward mobility. Hires mainly externally. some groups suffer from high turnover. Investment managers are often fired for short periods of under-performance or personal conflicts.
Advice to Management
Hire more from within. Offer cross training opportunities. don't be so quick to fire good investment managers due to short periods of under-performance.
