I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Good work life balance
    People are friendly and open
A lot of possibilities to grow as a developer

    Cons

JP Morgan is a bank, it has change management and infrastructure deployment systems which are geared towards fulfilling audit requirements. Continuous delivery is difficult.
It is easier to create software that rocks here than to make sure that this software actually gets deployed to production

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut the red tape while preserving the controls
Attract good people in infrastructure services to make the work life of all employees more interesting and your operations more streamlined
Reduce the sycophancy and encourage people to produce constructive criticisms

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
