I have been working at Lloyds Banking Group full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

In the main, the frontline staff care about the customers, and each other. The customers try and have a relationship with the Bank, and there are a lot of management trying to do the right thing.

    Cons

Ineffective Executive, self centred, material lack of Strategic Direction, similar in Leadership. They have created a fear culture, where people are afraid to challenge, and up and down the line communication is non existent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The business is about its customers and staff, not about the returns for the Senior Executive. Stop using Branded consultancies to do their job, like McKinsey and BCG, understand your customers, build a strategy for each sector, and empower the best people you have to execute it.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
